By David Hunter Fribourg – Champex-Lac 166.1km The Queen stage of the race and a tough day in the saddle. The riders are faced with four cat 1 climbs, including a mountaintop finish.
By David Hunter La Neuveville – Fribourg 169.8km On paper, this is the easiest stage of the race, with only three categorised climbs. The opening cat 2 climb, Les Paccots, is 3.9km at 6.8%. That is followed by some undulating roads before the next cat 2 climb 2, Sorens. It’s 4.4km at 5.1%, before the final…
By David Hunter Moutier – Porrentruy 173.2km An easy day in the saddle, or is it really? On first inspection, this looks a fairly standard day. Two cat 3 climbs and two cat 2 climbs. The final cat 2 climb crests 50km from the finishing line and that normally means we would get a bunch sprint….

Stage 1 is an easy 19.2km TTT. The route and profile suits big engines and the non-specialists could lose…
By David Hunter Liege-Ans 253km The last of the Ardennes races is here and it’s the big one, LBL. The hardest of the three races, thanks to the distance and severity of the climbs. This truly is a monument of cycling.
