By David Hunter Campi Bisenzio – Sestola 219km The 2nd week begins. A tough day after a rest day is always difficult for the riders. No one is 100% sure how they’ll react, so quite a lot of riders will feel nervous about this stage.

By David Hunter Chianti 40.5km ITT A typically Italian TT. With the rest day following, some of the riders might reward themselves with a glass of the local wine. They’ll have earned it!

By David Hunter Foligno – Arezzo 186km Strade Bianche style! This has to be the stage I am looking forward to the most.

By David Hunter Sulmona – Foligno 211km Anyone tired yet? Another long stage, as the riders head up to Foligno.

By David Hunter Ponte – Roccaraso 157km The first mountaintop finish of the race. It’s early in the race, which means it won’t necessarily be a GC battle.

By David Hunter Praia a Mare – Benevento 233km A long stage, the second longest in the whole race. It’s one of those stages that is harder than the profile suggests.
