By David Hunter The riders return to the familiar lap circuit around Mount Buninyong. It’s 183.6km of pain, with 18 laps of the punishing circuit. The climb itself is around 3km at 6%. The final 1km of it is very tough, and much more than 6%. This is where the crucial move usually takes place.

The Criterium is on Wednesday, followed by the TT on Thursday 8th, with the Road Race on Sunday 11th. Back in 2014, it was Michael Hepburn that took a surprise win. By David Hunter The end of the season is upon us. The riders head from Bonneval to Tours, travelling 237.5km. The weather forecast seems to be favouring the riders and they should get a nice day, with not much wind.

By David Hunter My favourite race of the year! 200km long, with 5 ascents of the climb to San Luca. It’s 2.1km at 10%, with a maximum of 18%. This is why I love the race.

By David Hunter The race begins with a 167km stage. It looks like a nice day for the sprinters, with only 3 categorised climbs, but looks can be deceiving. The route is peppered with short, steep ramps and is a challenging day in the saddle.
